Skiing in “Breck” takes place on the 'Four Great Mountains’, known as Peaks 7, 8, 9 and 10, providing some of the most stunning skiing in Colorado. With its pretty, pastel-painted wooden buildings and quaint bars and restaurants, Breckenridge exudes Victorian charm. Add to this the bonus of the Colorado Ticket Lift Pass which covers the excellent ski areas of Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek and Arapahoe Basin.

Our Opinion

Breckenridge will keep all standards of skiers & snowboarders happy, it’s a great base to ski other local resorts and has a reliable snow record. Early and late seasons can be excellent. Intermediates will be in heaven, with plenty of wide cruising runs, and with the opition to visit 4 other resorts there is no better place to be!

World Snowboard Guide

Breckenridge is a true snowboard classic spread over 4 excellent, varied peaks. Some say that the 'new school' style of boarding started here. The Gold King fun park is pretty awesome, with some big, big jumps, and thankfully it’s groomed at least twice a week. Powder searchers should see whats available in the back bowls off Peak 8. There are wide enough trails for all newcomers, making this great for beginners.

Activities
