With the largest single skiable mountain in the Colorado Rockies, Vail has something to offer skiers of all abilities. The front face has a network of wooded trails for all standards whilst those seeking powder should head for the famous Back Bowls. Vail village itself is large, yet attractive with an array of shops and boutiques to discover. With the flexibility of the Colorado ticket you can also experience the excitement of Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.

Our Opinion

Vail has a huge variety of terrain to suit all standards. The ski and snowboard school has an excellent reputation and thanks to a modern and efficient lift system, it is easy and quick to get around. There are some beautiful intermediate runs through the trees and there is the added benefit of being able to ski in 4 other areas. Though the town is spread out there is a regular, free bus service which serves all of our featured properties and has stops in town and at all of the lifts.
